NOTED | 7.3.16

Landed back in Houston yesterday after a week spent working in Laguna Beach. First trip I actually made it to the water, and all I can say is there are definitely worse places to be. Managed to have a lazy Saturday that included a bouldering session at Sender One and a little day drinking at the airport before getting upgraded to first class (thank you United). Still home with enough time to enjoy the three-day weekend.

It's my last 4th of July in Houston. After two and half years, I'm packing up my toys and relocating to Austin next month. I love Houston, but I'm psyched to have a work opportunity that will put some of the best urban outdoor climbing right in my backyard — and just in time for the new fall season. This next week is my last opportunity to organize the move before I'm back on the road, so I'll be spending most of the holiday packing.
